Hello and welcome everybody to my blog,

This is my first blog post, so I request everyone to have a good look at it and understand what is the main objective of my blog. First things First let's dive into the topic.

As you know myself Arif, I want to spread awareness on consequences of alcohol and smoking consumption and I want to make this world a better place to live, I will try my level best to make it happen and I hope this is the first step of many to come.

In this post we are going to discuss the effects of drinking and smoking.


"Consumption of Alcohol causes damage to health, wealth, career, relationships, marriages and what not your whole life".

Drinking and smoking are two of the most common and harmful habits that people engage in. Both can have negative effects on physical and mental health, as well as social and economic consequences.

Effects of Drinking: 

Short-term effects of drinking include impaired judgment, reduced coordination, and slurred speech.

Long-term effects of drinking can include liver damage, heart disease, and increased risk of certain cancers.
Alcohol abuse can also lead to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and addiction.
Drinking can have social consequences, including impaired relationships with friends and family, financial problems, and legal troubles.

Effects of Smoking

Short-term effects of smoking include bad breath, decreased appetite, and reduced lung function.

Nicotine addiction can lead to withdrawal symptoms and can make quitting smoking difficult.
Smoking can have social consequences, including the social stigma associated with the habit and the cost of purchasing cigarettes.


Both drinking and smoking can have a negative impact on a person's quality of life. Quitting these habits can improve physical health, mental health, and overall wellbeing. It's important to seek support and professional help if necessary to overcome addiction and make positive changes in your life.
